ExpresArte and Gato Negro present a comedy about social behaviour in Venezuela a hundred years ago. "Salto-Atrás" – “Sainete” (a satirical play full of hilarious situations) by Leoncio Martínez and adapted by Vicky Velasco. It tells a story in the context of the postcolonial times in Venezuela and speaks about a family that believed to be close to royalty. This work is a sarcastic criticism towards the behavior of a high-class family in the early twentieth century. The play uses humor with the intention of bringing awareness about racism and classism, as wrong values in any society.
